Flame of the Goddess
Flame of the Goddess is a participatory art installation presented at regional events in Southern Virginia, Western North Carolina and South Carolina. In a culture where reverence and inner spiritual work so often take a back seat, Flame of the Goddess invites participants to take a moment to honor the divine feminine and receive a message or lesson from 7 goddess archetypes associated with the element of Fire.
The installation is a series of seven shrines dedicated to goddesses associated with the element of Fire. You’ll find them near bridges and under trees, tucked away in shadows, and illuminated at night to reach the quiet corners of the heart and spirit. At each shrine, pay your respects to the fire goddess, receive her message, and add your energy and love to a communal incense blend to be burned at or after the Temple on Sunday.
